Marina Bay Deep Pile Foundation

Deep foundation engineering in marine conditions

High-rise residential tower, 48 storeys · 2023

This project involved the installation of 1.2-meter diameter bored piles reaching depths of 45 meters below sea level to support a 48-storey residential tower on reclaimed land. Diaphragm walls were constructed to a depth of 30 meters to provide both lateral support and groundwater cutoff. All works complied with the national seismic code for high-risk zones, and load testing confirmed a safety factor of 2.5 against ultimate bearing capacity.

Client Feedback on Deep Foundation Works

Project owners and site engineers share their experience with our bored piling, diaphragm wall, and compaction grouting services.

Bahadur Jain

Site Manager, Marina Bay Tower

Piling

“The bored piling team handled the 45-meter depth in marine clay without a single deviation. Diaphragm wall installation was precise, and the load test results exceeded our design requirements. We completed the foundation phase two weeks ahead of schedule.”

Krishna Chandra Chawla

Project Director, Port of Rotterdam

Grouting

“Compaction grouting under active crane rails was a high-risk operation. The team injected 800 cubic meters of grout with zero downtime for port operations. Post-treatment CPT results showed a 300% increase in tip resistance — the liquefaction risk is gone.”

Anjali Mehta

Structural Engineer, Metro Authority

Seismic Report

“The seismic resilience report reviewed over 200 borehole logs and performed dynamic soil-structure interaction analysis. The recommendations for helical pile underpinning were practical and cost-effective. The regulatory body accepted the report without revisions.”

Rajesh Khanna

Owner’s Representative, Coastal Residences

Diaphragm Wall

“Diaphragm walls to 30 meters depth on reclaimed land — the groundwater cutoff was perfect. No seepage during excavation, and the lateral support held up during a minor seismic event. The team’s attention to quality control was outstanding.”

Priya Sharma

Geotechnical Consultant, Industrial Pier

Load Verification

“Load-bearing verification for the pier rehabilitation required detailed analysis of existing pile groups. The report provided clear safety factors and identified two piles needing reinforcement. The client appreciated the straightforward, data-driven approach.”

Vikram Singh

Construction Manager, Transit Hub

Seismic Compliance

“The seismic compliance audit for the downtown metro hub was thorough. The team flagged three critical zones and proposed retrofitting solutions that fit our budget. The final report was accepted by the national infrastructure board on first submission.”
